School Readiness Transition

Continue Your Child’s Education Journey (Age 4-5)

Our foundation program coincides with the national school curriculum. We concentrate on fundamental skills in literacy and numeracy, such as reading, sight words, hand writing and oral language building skills and reinforcing cognitive processes. Children also learn phonemic awareness to help them learn to identify sounds, recognize letters and the formation of letters. Children learn ten sight words per term. They are also exposed to pre readers and begin to decode words using phonemic awareness. This approach provides the tools to break down words in to smaller parts and begins the process of learning to read. Every step is made to be fun and enjoyable.

Tuesdays: 10:00 am – 11:00 am

Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays: 9:30 am – 10:30 am

Maximum 5 in a class (year before primary school)

Cost: $40.00 per session. Must book entire term.
