About us
The Stepping Stones Education Centre at Burwood is the new brand launching in 2022, originally Begin Bright Burwood (2017). We remain committed to provide an academic, vigorous education to our students. We also help them to develop and enhance opportunities for their ongoing learning for children within our local community to become confident learners.
Burwood Stepping Stones Education Centre staff are fully-qualified teachers who have years of experience and are passionate for education.
Each student we work with, we cater for their individual needs and abilities. Our teachers use a variety of techniques to help each student/child to achieve their goals.
Meet Our Teachers
Venera
Meet the owner of Stepping Stones Education. I have a great passion for teaching children. My enthusiasm is to equip children to enjoy learning and to watch the impact of my influence transform timid and reserved children into bolder and more confident children. I have a bachelor’s degree from Sydney University in Early Childhood, Primary and Special Needs Education.
Sally
My name is Sally Rogers and teaching is a passion of mine. I became an Early Childhood Educator because I believe it is important that all children have access to a positive start to learning. I believe in the importance of play-based learning in providing children with a fun and interactive way to learn. I have a Master of Teaching Degree in Early Childhood Education.
Aastha
I have worked with preschool and early primary school students with the Begin Bright School Readiness program for four years. During the Covid 19 pandemic, I ran the online classes for Begin Bright Burwood. I have a Bachelor of Medical Science from Macquarie University, 2022.
Michael
My name is Michael. I have been playing music for more than 45 years and I have a Bachelors Degree from the University of Pittsburgh with a music minor with experience in composition and theory instruction. I also have enjoyed teaching music full time for four years in Sydney’s inner-west primary schools.
